Author Deb Graham has put generations of Girl Scout cooking wisdom & long-treasured recipes into  Hungry Kids Camp Fire Cookbook (Busy Kids, Happy Kids) , a veritable bible of easy camp cooking.With just over 100 camp recipes for everything from breakfast cocoa to Campfire Baked Apples and everything in between,  Hungry Kids Camp Fire Cookbook (Busy Kids, Happy Kids)  is chock full of quick, easy and innovative recipes that are well-tested favorites sure to please the kids in your life, whether at camp or at home.Deb is an old hand at traveling light (the general Girl Scout rule is "you pack it, you carry it") and that applies to her list of required kitchen gear as well. Perfect to make social distancing not as boring and it's always a great to share the work of meal times. I will not say a word about teaching a very adult survival skill of mixing, seasoning, cooking and cleaning with giggles and laughter. The recipes and directions also worked for a seniors gathering who have attended and hosted cookouts for a collective century of more but eagerly found some new things to try and later do with the grands! I will be mentioning this book in my local area blog of what to do to relieve the boredom of Covid Social Isolation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun camping food that is quick and easy! *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2013* Grandma recommended this book, so I downloaded, and she is right. It's a must-have for anyone who likes camping.The author have recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and snacks. I especially liked "Walking Tacos", which is a taco served in individual bags, complete with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, olives, beans, salsa and sour cream. My kids love all of the ingredients and I cook tacos often while camping. However, this is better because each serving is in it's own bag, with no need to dirty dishes. Love it!The "Taco Potatoes" sounds like another winner. It's simple, quick and a complete meal in a potato. Yep, I love to cook for the campfire, but am not fond of washing a lot of dishes.I'm going to try the campfire pineapple upside down cake. It sounds easy and delicious. It will be fun to have dessert cooked over the fire.The "Flaming Hot Dog" recipe sounds spectacular, and a will be a real treat for kids.
