So far I have gone hiking in these and it started raining towards the end. I can say is that I was amazed with these shorts not getting soaking wet. Water just beaded off of them. As if they are made of umbrella material but softer. They are lightweight and breathable with partly mesh pockets on the inside. The side pockets aren’t very big, while the single back pocket is quite large. All three pockets zip up. The zippers are thin, work well and stay out of the way. There are reflective areas on the shorts for extra safety when dark. I am 5’9”, 160 lbs and size 31 waist (on the fit side) and these fit me very well. The sizes do run a bit large for US, but the size chart seems to be accurate. There is a snap-button above the front sipper. There are no belt loops, but there adjustable Velcro strips on both sides for perfect waist size adjustment. I got the Army Green in the Small size and happy with it. They are a bit loose in the leg area, but that helps with movement and breathability. The overall length of the shorts is 21” from the waist to the bottom. The Army Green color is not very green, but somewhere in between Green, Tan and Gray and I personally like it. The belt loops would’ve been nice to have to wear a belt for accessories or a different look. But overall, I am happy with the quality and comfort of these Hifunk sport shorts. ### ⭐ Would not buy, poor quality. *by H***B on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2019* Edit 04/15/19The left front pocket zipper just let go. I rarely use this one, less than 16 zips and up down as I only use it periodically to stow my headphones on the way down on busy days. I'm just waiting for the rear zipper to fail at this point. Perhaps $25 was too good to be true. Perhaps spending 3 times as much so it will last more than a month is worth it.Edit: 04/07/19Today I was riding and when trying to zip up the right front pocket the zipper pull came off. I'm moving my score from 5 star down to 3. Still good shorts but the zipper issue negates a big positive for me as I now do not have a front pocket that zips to stash my phone. I have about 12 rides on them now and am a bit disappointed the zipper busted after a short number of rides.Original Review:While I bought these back in November I only just started wearing them as the weather was quite wet and muddy here in the PNW. I have about 10 rides on them so far and have to say I am impressed for the price.These are very light weight shorts and great if the weather is warm. I wouldn't expect these would do so well in the wet and mud. The fabric has enough stretch and I never feel constricted or constrained when I'm moving from pedaling to standing and back.The pockets are all of good size and I appreciate in particular the fact that the two front pockets are have zippers and are large enough to hold my 5.7" smart phone for the climbs with room to spare. While I do move my phone to my pack on the descents I like having my phone easily accessible when I climb and these shorts make that possible. The rear pocket is large and easily fits a wallet. Because the pockets are larger, items in them aren't pressed against your legs or behind and thus don't cause discomfort when pedaling. The don't bang against your legs which is quite irritating. I've put my car keys in the front pocket (zipped of course) and forgotten they were there until I was done with the ride. I've even forgotten to take my phone out of the front pocket and descended over chunky trails with drops and doubles and never felt the phone banging around. Overall I would recommend for those on a budget. I have a hard time spending $100 on a pair of shorts when <$25 will do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ aside from wallet pocket, these are the bomb! *by H***T on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2019* I live in these shorts. They are my favorite and have 2 pair. If bolder cors come about I will buy more. They meet almost every need for me. my only gripe is the back pocket where I typically put my wallet. it allows the wallet to sit either too low or centric on my body and it's hard to move it outboard of my body so I am not sitting on the wallet. For long drives I remove my wallet, but with these I basically remove it every time I sit about just about anywhere.
