It is hard for me to go as often as I would like, so I decided to purchase a spin bike for home use. After countless hours researching dozens of indoor spin bikes, I decided on the Spinner Sprint. I am extremely happy with my purchase.I wanted a bike that had a heavy flywheel, a leather brake pad, and a chain-drive. Q-factor, and quality of components and construction were also important. Multiple adjustment options for the seat and handles were a must (I was shocked to see some bikes have only 5 options for seat height - this bike has over 16). Finally, I wanted to purchase a bike from a company with excellent customer service, in case something should go wrong. Mad Dog Athletics, based in California, is a highly reputable company. I needed to order a replacement part (I am sure I did the damage), and they sent it out, free of charge, within a few days.This bike is better than I could have ever imagined. The quality of the frame is outstanding. The cranks are commercial grade, as are the handle-bars. Most importantly, the ergonomics are correct. My worst fear was buying a bike that was poorly designed and unusable, especially considering how difficult it would be to return. This bike is thoughtfully designed and very comfortable to ride.The seat that came with the bike was not comfortable, so I replaced it with a seat designed to reduce tailbone discomfort. I also changed out the pedals for ones that are compatible with clips. Based on the other reviews, I expected to make these upgrades. The chain on the bike does make noise, but it is no louder than a regular street bike.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this bike to anyone. One note: make sure you are home when the bike is delivered. It is very, very heavy. My UPS delivery man helped bring it in the house with his cart.Final comment: this bike is a discontinued model, but it is new (not refurbished). It is an excellent buy, especially compared to the latest model. You know you have made a good purchase when you walk by, and it calls to you, "Ride me, ride me." Like others, I have experienced the chain noise, but the booklet provides instructions on how to fix it.
