It does not have an offensive scent, and I am fragrance sensitive, and it stays on well. I didn't realize it had a little bit of a frosted look to it, and I usually don't like that, but I find that with this particular color, it serves to give my face a glow it doesn't have without the frosting. The Garnet color is very flattering and the frosting softens the color so it isn't too intense.
