So I investigated the many options for a warm winter hat. I liked the material and look of the Vgoglfy Slouch Beanie, and thought it was worth a try. I had tried others but the warm and comfort of fit was lacking. I have been very happy with this choice. The hat is warm pulled down over my ears and even down the back of my neck to my overcoat collar. It slides easily wherever I want to place the hat around my head, like pushing it back for visibility while driving. My head is not huge, but average circumference, so there is no uncomfortable compression that is often the case with stocking caps or beanies. The main shell is super soft and thick, with good detail in the woven pattern. The interior is a faux fur material which is soft and doesn’t seem to shed upon the first few wears. The stitching is good and the logo on the little “leather” tab on the front is not obtrusive or gaudy. The overall look is nice, though they are a lot larger and thicker than they appear in the Amazon photos. They are perfect if you want to pull the back up like a pretentious, bearded, barista; otherwise you have to fold the back over itself to make it look like a somewhat oversized skully. Time will tell how they hold up.
