Can a pipe be used over the handle for more leverage?** A: There is a switch that allows you to reverse the direction but this should not be used to "break loose" a previously tightened bolt, only to back off something you're working on. As for the pipe question, yes, that is fine as long as you are still able to feel the click. The instructions are printed in Taiwan so it is probably made there.
