You could just feel his super tight little tummy and imagine his pain. The gas drops didn't really do much after his tummy got to that point so I tried this tummy band. It was amazing how quickly he would relax and drift off to sleep. Other reviews mention the band leaving burns on the baby's belly, I always put the band on over clothes and followed the heating instructions and not once had a burned baby belly. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is it is a little tricky to keep the band from riding up. I want it to just stay on the belly but it shifts easily and can be tricky to readjust. Otherwise I would recommend this product for babies suffering from gassy tummies.
