There are screws and other bumps sticking out from the back. I ended up having to hang it using the supplied wires. They are too long to use in a garage setting, so I had to do a lot of winding to get it raised up. The light is plenty bright and will serve your purpose if you do not want to mount it flush. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Lights! *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2019* I installed 6 of these lights in my garage. I replaced the dim, noisy, flickering, Fluorescent lights. You can flush mount them IF you take apart the light, cut the two wires to the LED, screw the light to your ceiling, then reinstall the led strip. Not too hard just takes some time and two people. One went out soon after installation. Couldn’t get anyone to honor the warranty. Ordered another and pieced it together. Ended up being the entire led strip was out.
