Very happy with the improvement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works on older iMacs *by T***. on May 9, 2025* I purchased this for a mid 2011 iMac with 27-in screen. Installation was simple, but I suggest finding a video regarding installation before starting. I cannot speak to how well it works in other machines. Works great on mine, but I have replaced the operating system with Linux. But it was a very cheap way to go from 4 GB of RAM to 20 GB, since the mid 2011 iMacs have four memory slots, but only used two of them. Do not expect performance similar to RAM made in the last few years. This is for old machines but is a cheap way to give them a little more punch.
