Does this provide good hold and curl definition? I always use firm hold gels.** A: It has a pretty decent hold so far as I’ve been trying it, but I have fine hair. I would rate it as like a 7 out of 10 in terms of hold so far. (I will have to test Curl Maker in high humidity, especially in comparison with my Ouidad Advanced Climate Humidity and Heat Stronger Hold gel. My Ouidad gel does feel a bit stronger so far.) **Q: Is this good for 2c/3a wavy/curly hair?** A: Yes, this product is good for 2c/3a hair types. Start with a small quantity and add more product as needed. **Q: Does this flake?** A: Does not flake. Especially if your are using it with their cream or any other creamy like product. The only time you may risk flaking is perhaps mixing it with another product that is a milky creamy substance from a different line. You can always do the flake test if using this with some other product by rubbing both in your palms. If you see cottage cheese like forming.. then you will know to not mix the two. If you are only using just this Curl maker alone....you will be fine. I am African American with type 4a/4b hair if that helps. **Q: I have 2b/2c hair and mine is not textured but i have a lot of hair. do i need to use a diffuser for this product to hold my hair in curls?** A: I only use these products on my hair. It holds the curls all day long.
