It is not an easy item to find in the store. My wife has tried and tried to make a "Blooming onion" type sauce to match the sauce that you can buy at Outback. However, no one sells it and it's not an easy sauce to make. Quite frankly I'm sure she would try to make it for me but I don't want to ask every time I want it.So I got this sauce in and I am not disappointed, but it is not what I expected. It has a sort of smoky, but not spicy, blooming onion type taste. It works well as a dipping sauce for a lot of different foods. We use it with the Davios Steak and Cheese spring rolls....Short and sweet: I'd say if you really LOVE Vidalia sauce, this is probably for you. ### ⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for steakhouse style sauce look elsewhere... *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2015* I was thinking this sauce would be similar to the sauce served at Outback Steakhouse but it really isn't at all. The color is pretty similar but the texture is very funny. When I opened the bottle I thought the smell was a bit off but I still have it a chance. The taste proved to have absolutely none of the same flavors as I was hoping for, it's basically just thousand island dressing. I give three stars because I asked for a refund and they granted it without asking for the product back, now I have some pretty good, free thousand island dressing... ### ⭐⭐ Very disappointed *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2012* I ordered this on line because the local store quit carrying it, this product has the same name and packaging as what I was buying locally but the flavor isn't even close, the color is much darker also. So now I have a six pack of sauce I don't like.
