I have wanted to have my own decent cue for a while but never thought I played enough to warrant one. Iā€™m not a bad player but no pro by any means. I have only previously bought a couple of one piece billiard cues for an inexpensive home pool table I had had. So this is the first time that I had spent over a $100 for a decent cue. The quality for what you pay for is exceptionally though. The cue is well balanced and truly straight. The design is so much better in person. Even if you only play once a month I would highly suggest you treat yourself and pick up one of these cues. Iā€™m sure no one would think you are a shark for having a Viper cue but it is nice just for the consistency. Packaging was horrible, cue came in a plastic sleeve that was inside a box that was 10 times larger than it needed to be without any filler or bubble wrap. With that said at least mine had no damage that I could detect.
