As advertised, it is dust proof and protects the phone from spills and drops. I can’t give an educated review on its being waterproof as I’ve never submerged it, but from what I see it looks like it would be quite waterproof.The only thing I don’t like about this case is that, in its endeavor to be dust and water proof, it virtually annihilates the iPhone’s renowned speaker quality: sounds ranging from music to ringtones to text tones are muffled severely, and turning up the volume vibrates the case terribly.
