Coffee flour is made from the leftover fruit that cover the beans. It is more cherry or fruit flavored than coffee. **Q: What is the shelf life?** A: It is a dry flour product so should be fine indefinitely...it is a rather small package so if you do much baking at all it'll be gone before you know it **Q: can it be used in a bread machine?** A: I haven’t tried using coffee flour in a bread machine but I can’t imagine that it would harm either the bread machine or the baked good. I use coffee flour in baked goods frequently at temperatures of 350-450 with no negative consequences. **Q: What is the caffiene content of this product? I've seen another brand list 80mg per 15g (1tbsp) but I dont see it listed here for this brand.** A: I don't believe this product contains caffeine as it is not made from the part of the plant that naturally contains caffeine, so caffeine would have to be a listed additive which it is not. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coffee flour tastes great and is easy to use *by R***Z on May 6, 2019* Tried it in a smoothie and it was quite good. I like it that I'm supporting a domestic company.The nutritional information on the pkg indicates 1 tablespoon has fiber, iron and potassium, some of which my normal diet is deficient in. I put 1 tbs in my smoothie each morning for nutrition and fiber. I am able to use this (with taste and vitamins) instead of buying fiber supplements from the drug store.I am disappointed they leave the "servings per container" blank on the pkg.Update 1/1/2024: I hope this is available again soon!
