This was my first time trying Lupini beans, and the texture was somewhat surprising, but not at all unpleasant. The beans are very firm, so they have a pleasant "snap" and "crunch" as you enjoy them. Even better, they quickly break down with chewing, so there's no problem with excessive roughage (such as with celery "strings" or snap-pea pods). The beans do have a skin, like Favas, and you can opt to pop the beans out of their skins before eating. However (happily) the texture of the skin is very much the same as the bean itself, so I just ate them whole and they are wonderful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MOST CONVENIENT AND DELICIOUS SNACK *by L***R on September 13, 2020* I love lupini beans, but find the kind in jars a slight bit to salty/briney without rinsing. These are are better quality, more flavorful, and also cut out the step of having to rinse the beans! It's awesome! If you are not familiar with lupini beans that's a sad thing, but they are delicious, and are the perfect snack in-between meals. They are a good study snack too because they don't make you sleepy but also fill you up. They are also a good bar snack. In terms of beans, I find lupinis very easy to digest, and these were no exception to that. ### ⭐ It's disgusting *by K***O on June 11, 2023* I ordered it because I thought it would taste OK and be healthy.
