The paint and sprayer (also bought from desertcart) arrived in a timely fashion and the sprayer was of surprisingly good quality. The instructions are very clear -- they state to use a 10 to 1 (darker green) or a 15 - 1 (lighter green) water to paint mixture to attain desired results. This means this mix will provide you with roughly one gallon of paint at 15 - 1 ratio. We mixed one-half gallon at 15 - 1 and tested it...we elected to make it a little darker, seems like 12 - 1 is perfect for Kentucky Bluegrass patches. We applied to brown Kentucky Bluegrass (we have a 10 x 10 patch in the front yard that goes dormant early in the summer because the soil below isn't great or there is something buried there). It worked GREAT. I was still suspect spraying it because, going on wet, I wasn't really sure how this was going to work -- it was fantastic. One key -- don't judge when you are spraying and are directly on top of it. Spray your test patch...and stand back. You won't be able to tell the difference! Green Concentrate Covers 150 to 250 sq ft -- so figure approx 200 sq ft. **Q: Does it mix with water** A: Yes, it mixes quite easily with water. I can't remember the ratio, but it seems like about 5 to 1. It has been over a year since I used it last. It has easy to read directions on the bottle, so just mix as directed. **Q: Can I use this on a newly seeded lawn as I wait for the seeds to germinate and grass to fill in?** A: Thanks for your answers! Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My neighbors are oh so happy now *by S***I on December 7, 2012* I have been meaning to re-sod my front lawn for quite sometime now. When I purchased my home, St. Augustine ruled the front lawn, but it really isn't the ideal turfgrass for me. It is difficult to mow, too thick/mushy, and struggles in the shady areas of my front lawn. So...I decided to "let it die" and it had started to look like straw yellow. I killed the remnants with RoundUp, and now it's totally dead. So...because it's not really the ideal time to re-sod (winter coming), I didn't want to drive my neighbors nuts with a dead lawn. Instead, I purchased some lawnlift and painted it up. It was easy to use with a pump sprayer, although I wish I had an extension on the spray wand so that I wouldn't hurt my back so much. It doesn't really look like a natural lawn color, but it definitely does the trick.
