The deep pockets fit great over my pillow top mattress & pad (about 14 inches total). They are sooo soft and warm. Very comfortable - not too thick or too thin.*** UPDATE***After using these sheets for about 7 months & washing them about 20 times they have completely pilled & feel like you're laying on dirt/sand. They are no longer buttery soft either. If you are using these on a guest bed that doesn't get slept in regularly, you might get longer use out of them. They were awesome for the first 3 months/10 washes. However the accent pillows are not the same color gray. The fabric is not breathable at all. It’s soft enough, but they’re slippery and don’t really stay on the bed. They are the absolute noisiest sheets I’ve ever tried to sleep on in my entire life! That alone is the reason why I am returning them. I cannot handle the noise.
