Had hole in a water butt well over a year ago, as I had nothing else about thought I would try this tape, the butt hasn't leaked yet and the tape still shows no sign of coming away. Thermally can't comment but originally bought to seal aluminum insulation to the interior of a timber exterior sorround I had built for my spa, very impressed how the temperature holds up without an excessive addition to my electric bill.
