Review: Solid value - Picked this shredder because it was amongst the cheapest for a 12+ sheet shredder at my time of purchase and had a dedicated CD/Card shredder slot which was important to me to ensure they don't create unevenness in the main shredder teeth. Have used it for a while now and no complaints though there are a few nice to haves in a future model. There is pretty much no garbage bag that will fit in the tray unless its extremely large. Also would have been nice to have some shredder oil come with it. Have tried to avoid sticky stuff but it will shred bristol board, envelopes, padded envelopes, desertcart paper packaging, single ply cardboard. Haven't had any signs of it slowing down yet. need to hold the forward and backward buttons to activate manual mode with a slight delay. Only real con is the 30 minute run time, would have been nice to have one hour.

A: I was told mine had a one year warranty but when mine jammed and I called I was told that I could only get a refund minus an $8 stocking charge. To get a replacement I had to buy a new shredder. I think it depends on who you talk to what you get.

**Q: Is this a medium duty cycle for a small office?**
A: It would be great for a small office. Just be careful not to put thicker sheets or folded sheets in too often or it will overheat the system and you have to wait 15 - 20 minutes for it to cool down. Stick to one or 2 sheets at a time. If you have a lot of paperwork, you may want to go up a size because the basket fills up pretty quickly. Overall, it is a good little machine.

**Q: can you use a bag**
A: Somebody said use a 4 Gallon plastic trash bag to catch cuttings. I wasted my money purchasing some. The Amazon Basics 15-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper, CD Credit Card Office Shredder bin holds way more than a 4 gallon bag. I tried to stretch the bag over the bin and it simply tore. DO NOT TRY A 4 GALLON BAG.
