Or is it just intercom only / or phone only?** A: Hi. My wife and I use these with our iPhones. Both she and I can listen to our own music or one person can share their music across both headsets. When the intercom button is pressed, the music will pause until you end the conversation and then it will resume from the pause point. If music is playing and the phone rings, you can choose to answer the call and the music will pause until the phone call is ended and then the music will resume. We have also been able to use the units to share a phone call. (Three wall calling). Hope this helps..... On a side note, we have found the range to be just a bit less than a mile. The one time we did get separated in heavy traffic, I just used the phone feature and called her phone and we talked on the phone until we were able to see one another again. **Q: Can you both listen to the same music? I've never had anything like a headset while riding, and I'm very naive about helmet headsets** A: If the headsets are used as an intercom, nothing is connected to the motorcycle. On my BMW, I connected a SENA SM-10 so I can receive the bikes radio. The GPS has bluetooth so it will also transmit to the headsets. There is nothing that physically connects the headsets to the bike. I doubt the whole installation took longer than ... *by J***O on January 31, 2015* I paired the SMH-A0302 kit with the SMH10 module. There are You-tube videos on how to install/glue to a Schubert C3, and my installation went easily. I doubt the whole installation took longer than 10-15 minutes. (There is a whole where the left chin strap inserts to the left chin pad. I fed the microphone through the hole and positioned it just under the fabric. You cannot see it or feel it, but people hear me perfectly.) In short, the product is incredible! After turning on, I simply speak as if I were speaking to my iPhone (which is somewhere else on my motorcycle or in my pocket) and ask to start Audible (where I listen to books on tape). I can then tap the button and simply say "call wife" and it dials. I hear perfectly at 65 mph, as does the person I'm speaking with. Previously, I had to use an amplifier to hear the books on tape from the iPhone to large and expensive speakers I put inside the helmet. This does not need an amplifier --- it fact, I had to turn down the volume.
