## Description

Aim Sports 4X32 Compact Rangfinder Scope with RingsIncludes rings. Lens coating: Blue. Magnification: 4x. Fov-feet at 100 yards: 36.6. M.O.A: 1/4. Eye relief: 3 in.. Exit pupil: 0.31 in.. Objective: 1.25 in.. Tube: 1 in. Dia.. Matt black color. Length: 7.75 in.. Weight: 0.68 lbs.How to Install the Scope:A scope mounted close to the rifle ensures proper cheek weld on the stock for a stable firing position and allows for rapid target acquisition. We recommend using the lowest possible ring height. No specific clearance is required, but the scope must clear the bolt handle, hammer (on lever actions and handguns), sights, and barrel. When installed, be sure that your scope does not interfere with firearm operation, and does not make contact with anything except for the mount rings. Establishing Eye Relief:With the scope as far forward in the mounts as possible, hold the rifle in your normal shooting position. (Variable power scopes should be set at the highest magnification for this process). Slowly move the scope to the rear just until you can see a full field of view. Position your scope here for maximum eye relief. Without disturbing the optimal eye relief position, rotate the scope until the elevation adjustment dial is at the top of the scope. From a firing position, check to be sure that the vertical hair of the reticle aligns with the vertical axis of the firearm. Misalignment will not affect accuracy at moderate distances but it can diminish long range accuracy. When you are satisfied, tighten the ring screws evenly and securely. Focusing the Reticle:Secure the scope and firearm in a firm rest. Safely point the scope at a light colored background object. With the scope approximately four inches from your eye the reticle should appear sharp and crisp; if it does not, it is necessary to adjust the focus by means of the eyepiece. Making Precise Windage and Elevation Adjustments:The style of elevation and windage adjustments on AIM rifle scopes is clearly marked in easy to read increments. There are four hash marks from zero to (and including) the number one on an adjustment knob, the value of each increment of adjustment on that knob is 1/4-MOA. It is the same with all AIM adjustment dials. One-MOA moves the point of impact at 100 yards by 1inch. At 100 meters, it moves 29mm. The letters found the windage and elevation dials refer to the direction that the point of impact of the bullet is moved when an adjustment is made. To make a correction, simply rotate the adjustment cover counterclockwise until it “pops up,” fully revealing the adjustment indication markings, and make the appropriate correction. To secure the adjustment cover, push down while tightening the cover.

Review: Perfect for the Savage Rascal - I looked and looked for a small scope for the Savage Rascal. The aperture sights on the Rascal are great, but my young shooters were having a hard time with them. I wanted them to enjoy shooting more (by getting more hits) and have to worry about getting a perfect sight picture less. They will have plenty of time to learn to shoot with iron sights, but this gun is about learning gun safety and the joy of shooting. I wanted a scope that would fit the very small gun and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I tried a few others, including an inexpensive red dot and a cheap .22 scope for Walmart. The red dot had wicked paralax problems and the Walmart scope had rings that fit a .22 scope mount, not the Savage Rascal picatinny mounts. I was a bit worried about the quality of this scope, because of the low price, but the reviews were good, so I gave it a try. I am glad I did. This scope is exactly the right size for the Rascal. It allows the bolt to move freely and allows the gun to be loaded with no problems. It has appropriate eye relief (approximately 2.5 - 3") for small shooters and the short stock. The sight picture is clear and bright. Setting zero was quick and easy and it seems to hold zero perfectly. The 4X magnification is reasonable for plinking from 50 to 200 yards. Please keep in mind when purchasing - This is a tiny, fixed power scope with very short eye relief. It is probably only appropriate for small guns with very light recoil (airguns and .22's). I only have two very small gripes, but they do not really tarnish my opinion of this scope. First, the adjustment knobs were a bit tight - which will probably lend to better accuracy over time, but made adjustments a bit uncomfortable (I used a leatherman rather than wear my fingers out). Second, the crosshairs could be thinner. They seem to cover a bit more of the target than is necessary. I was still able to reliably shoot 1" target stickers at 100 yards, but the stickers were completely covered at that range.
Review: Good scope for very reasonable cost. - Bought this scope for a Marlin .22 rifle to replace a "normal" length 3-9x40 scope. I needed a shorter scope and this one seemed to fit the bill. It came with rings, but I guess I should have checked the Q&A's first, because the rifle had 3/8" dovetail mounting, and this scope came with a picatinny mount. No big deal, I just took the rings off the other scope, and that worked. One problem with this was, that the scope was positioned very forward on the rifle, and I had to lean in to the scope to get within the 2-3' eye relief. A few dry runs at home, and a standing position, didn't pose too big of a problem with relief, so I took the package to the range to get it sighted in. Took me a couple of mags worth to get it sighted in at about 20 yards (OK, about 50 rounds :)... ), but when I got it adjusted correct it was right on the money. I emptied one mag (10 rds) at bench rest, and I could cover all hits with a Quarter, which for me is pretty impressive, since I am by all accounts only an average shooter. One issue did come up, and it was the pesky eye relief. At bench rest it was hard to get my eye close enough to the scope, so I had to order a picatinny rail with an extended rail to mount on the dovetail. The will bring the scope a few inches back, and I can reuse the picatinny rings it came with. The scope is great for my use, and the cost is very reasonable. Others pointed out the fat cross hairs, and they are correct, but it isn't a problem for me. Please be aware of the eye relief when ordering, since this scope can only move 1/4" back and forth when seating it in the rings. I have added a photo so you can see the sight picture with the cross hair and range marks.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the eye relief with this scope?**
A: Seems like a 4 inch eye relief is about right. I tried to go farther but it just got blurred any farther then that.

**Q: Is it good for airsoft the sport**
A: It will work .. but this is ment for a cross bow . It has drop in the scope for bolts . That being said it still has cross hairs . So yes it will work but it will have extra stuff inthe scope that has nothing to do with youre sport .. hope this helps sorry its late

**Q: Hi everyone, will the ring mounts be high enough to clear a Ruger AR 15 fold down rear sight and also clear the front one?! Thank You**
A: There is a lil over a inch maybe a inch and a half from rail to scope .. But that's on my crossbow I'm sure it might be different on an ar.. Hope this helps

**Q: Mounting rings 3/8 inch?**
A: I think he's asking if the rings are 3/8 dovetail, which is a common alternative to weaver in .22 rifles. I'd like to know as well.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handles recoil and holds zero.
*by T***S on September 10, 2015*

When buying a $25 scope, the most important factors are going to be that it: A) It keeps zero B) It handles recoil. This scope does both, and well. I have it mounted on an SU-16A in 5.56 with Nikon P-Series rings, because I had those rings lying around and they provide a limited see-through for the low profile iron sights. I DID NOT USE THE SUPPLIED RINGS. The recoil of the SU-16 is heavier than an AR-15, somewhere between an AR and AK recoil. It has held up to about a hundred rounds of mixed 5.56 and 223, and is as accurate as the rifle and shooter allows. If it can handle being slammed back and forth by a gas piston in a very light rifle, it will handle almost anything. The cons: The glass is not good for light gathering, and definitely not as clear as a $300 scope (did you expect it to be?). Not a problem during the day, but you can't see through the scope well either indoors in low light or at night. Fine for outdoor shooting at 100 yards. The see-through lens covers supplied make this worse if you don't take them off, as both are plastic and one is tinted yellow. The last issue is the thickness of the cross-hairs, approximately 1" at 100 yards (2" at 200yds, 3" at 300yds). In my opinion this is a plus, it helps with rangefinding, but the crosshairs may obscure your target a little at longer range. TLDR: It's a great scope for $25. durable, not fantastic glass quality but accurate and holds zero. Would be a great budget addition to any AR or light rifle.
