In conjunction with educators, OWI Inc. has developed a fully structured teaching curriculum with modules tailored to the kit�s unique electronic and mechanical features.  OWI Inc. is a leading supplier of robotic, aluminum bug kits, building and solar kits to schools, science clubs, science education centers and science camps. The kits are available at hobby, educational, toy and museum stores nationwide. OWI Wired Control Robotic Arm Edge measuring 9 x 6.3 x 15 in. Works with 4 D cell batteries and can be used for commanding the gripper to open and close, vertical reach of 15 in, horizontal reach of 12.6 in. and lifting capacity of 100 g, wrist motion of 120 deg, an extensive elbow range of 300 deg, base rotation of 270 deg and base motion of 180 deg. It is possible to have night time play and extended life on the gearbox to prolong your control and predictions of the robot's behaviour and also total command and visual manipulation using 5 switch wired controller, 5 motors and 5 joints. To prevent potential injury or gear breakage during operation a safety gear audible indicator is included on all 5 gear boxes and also features a search light design on the gripper.
