It is entirely made of metal and feels very sturdy and heavy. Was easy to install, although I would recommend a second person to make sure it is even and not turned one way or another.The downside is for whatever reason, cold water comes out at half the pressure as hot water does. It does come with pressure reducers which reduce the amount of water used, but we kept these in as our water pressure is pretty good and were concerned water would shoot out of the bowl sink.So I am not sure if it is the faucet, or our plumbing.
