**Q: What is the difference between the "standard brush roll" and the "gentle brush roll" on this model?  I have tile, carpet, & wood floors.**
A: This is a great option to have; I use ot every time i vaccuum! I have cats and so when I switch from bedroom/carpet to bathroom/tile, I switch to gentle brush, which slows down the power and sucks up the loose litter vs. throwing it all around the room.  Definitely worth the extra charge.

**Q: is the cord auto rewind**
A: No, the vacuum has to "sprockets" and you simply wrap the cord on the sprockets.  It's very simple but works great.

**Q: Is there swivel steering**
A: Yes

**Q: Is it OK to remove the canister and clean under cold running water?**
A: You would be fine if you made sure everything was dry before putting the canister back on the vacuum. Double check with the owners manual if you have any concerns.
