Spoiler alert: nothing on any site that easily comes to mind has this info. For somebody else that might be doing a more involved project, the following info may be useful.I took a risk and bought these since they seemed like they might work. For the record, the hole required is slightly larger than 1”, with 3 slots around the circumference that I ended up dremeling in. The bulb holder is held into the housing by tension by the 3 prongs from a squishy rubber gasket. However, the spacing for my application was too large so I had to go to the local hardware store, buy some extra rubber washers, then cut them to size and stack them until it fit nice and tightly.Also, make sure to take a multimeter and test out the wire’s circuits. In addition, there are the tangs, or nibs. These use specific patterns. So if you are replaceing a socket to upgrade to LED - you need to really examine the photo's carefully if possible to be sure your socket fits AND can be installed and locked into place!
