If you need to write detailed information, purchase the one month planner. I received the 4 month, which is great for keeping up with the family's schedules, birthdays, etc. Each square is about 1.75" tall x 2.75" wide, with 4 preprinted lines. It's possible to write in about 2 events, if you keep it short and sweet. It looks nice. I use wet erase markers, so it doesn't smear when I add to the calander. It came with 4 dry erase markers instead of one, and does come with a very small dry eraser.
