A: I replaced the old Kohler cartridge with the same cartridge, and it worked perfectly.

**Q: How do you adjust the Temperature?**
A: Usually there is a geared ring around around the front of the stem that is spring loaded .By pulling it out and turning it will adjust the temp up and down as you turn it there are stops that limit the rotation

**Q: Do you need to apply silicone grease?**
A: No grease needed

**Q: Does this cartridge work as a replacement for same found in Kohler Forte shower valve?**
A: yes. OEM.
