But I took the plunge and couldn't be happier. They are light weight--like a thin dish towel, but amazingly absorbent. Much better than the traditional thick looped towel. Plus because they are so thin, they dry much much faster. I may go back to my heavier towel in the winter, but for now in summer, the Bersuse towel is the perfect weight.Also, I'm not exactly a little bitty thing, and even after washing and a very minor bit of initial shrinkage, this towel is plenty big to fit around me with room to spare.I particularly like this brand because they seem to be of really good quality. You can often tell by the packaging and the label whether the company is mindful of quality.I had to buy another for my husband because he was jealous. I have a feeling there will be more purchased in my future. Maybe a rainbow of colors! ### ⭐⭐ Absorbent but not soft *by A***D on February 23, 2018* I've always hated fuzzy towels & after long hard research, was finally introduced to Turkish towels.I knew these would not be fuzzy, but there is a difference between fuzzy versus soft. These towels are not soft at all & after several washes, still did not soften.When compared to all other types towels: terrycloth, microfiber, waffle - I'd give these 4 stars, simply due to not having fuzz. But in comparison to other Turkish towels, I give these 1 star. I recently purchased the Calcala brand on Amazon & those are friggin amazing, soft & absorbent, much better than the Bersuse.I do appreciate what the Bersuse brand stands for, they promote authentic handmade products, however, they attached a rather large Bersuse label to the front of the towel (in additional to the washing care label on the back) which gives it a very designer, mass-produced look. I dont think it was necessary to slap a scratchy label onto an already scratchy towel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best towel ever! *by B***A on April 22, 2017* I've been looking for Turkish towels for quite some time and finally found the pure white ones here. I purchased just one to make sure I liked it. I'm already a big fan of these wonderful towels however I know the quality varies greatly. I didn't want to write a review until I washed it as that's the true test. Well, it's great. Soft and light (which is one of the reasons it's so good). These are the best towels and are incredibly absorbent. Not sure why everyone doesn't know about them. They are my bath towels (nice and big) at home but they're even better for the beach, yoga class, etc. Also, works fabulously as a sarong. I just purchased 2 more!
