And greatfully these do not slip at all. I tested it by shaking my head back and forth, side to side a but aggressively, in order to see if it really stays on my head, and it sure did. I don’t feel it small on my head as some reviewd have mentioned, and I don’t have a small head. So, fitting is perfect to me. The only con is that the burgundy and golden headband, came in a different color as other reviews did mention. But I still will keep it. These headbands are perfect for the Fall and Winter season, and you can use them for a casual day, yet for a fancy day! I love the retro kind of style but I felt they were just a little too tight to wear for any length of time. If you want to use them to hold your hair back while washing your face or applying makeup, they would be fine. Otherwise, I can't see wearing them for hours without getting a headache. Maybe if you have a tiny head they might work or for a little girl possibly.
