I was about to pay $35.57 on another site. Someone suggested I try Amazon.com. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Amazon. Had I not found this product, I would have had to find another medium and would have had to re-submit 35% of the illustrations for my current project! If it's too hard for little hands, maybe some re-marketing is in order, but please don't discontinue this product. I don't use it for everything but in some applications its perfect! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ creative *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2012* I'm an artist with 30 years of experience. I was using oil painting to reach watercolor effect. This easy- squizy paint gives a bright vibrant colors to reach a beautiful effects for abstract paintings. I only wish to have the paint in regular bottles without brushes on the top. It would be easier to use and cost less. ### ⭐ Frustrating and high-maintenance *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2009* I'm so glad I didn't actually pay money for this, it was a gift. I agree with all the other reviews, although it does seem to wash up ok for us. Did the Parents company not test this product with kids to see if they could actually use it, or with parents to see if they were willing to put in that much work on set-up and clean-up? My very strong 5-yr-old boy can barely get the paint to squeeze out. But this is my biggest peeve: when cleaning up, you have to unscrew and wash 8 brushes, then recap with the 8 little caps and then screw on each of the 8 (did I mention there were 8) brushes. And if you don't do a really good job of cleaning them, they won't work very well. Then, when you go to use them again, you unscrew all 8 of the brushes, take out all 8 of the caps, and screw the 8 (I did mention that there were 8, didn't I?) brushes back on. Geez! I found myself telling my kids things like "you can only use 2 colors today." How creative can they be with a mean mommy who only lets them paint with 2 colors because she doesn't have time to unscrew, rescrew, unscrew, wash, and rescrew all the #@#$#$% brushes? Screw that! I solved this by dumping each color into a small pyrex bowl and giving each child one good old-fashioned paintbrush and a bowl of water to rinse, then rinsing and tossing the bowls in the dishwasher when they're done. Also, this paint is sticky and easily soaks through to the other side of the paper, so unless you hang the little creations quickly, they will stick like glue to whatever surface they are sitting on. On the positive side, the colors have kind of a nifty, bright, gel-like effect.
