Will this run them?** A: To be clear, this amp claims 45 W/channel *peak-to-peak*, not RMS. This unit will only put out a bit over 10 W/channel RMS. It will not hurt anything to drive larger speakers with a smaller amp, but you will not get the full volume your speakers are capable of. If your speakers are rated at 80W RMS, then this (10W RMS) amp will only produce 1/8 the power (which will sound about 1/2 as loud) as the speakers could put out with a larger amp. It depends on the efficiency of the speakers and the size of the space whether that will be loud enough for your needs or not. **Q: Just wondering if any techies out there have had a look inside this amp and can tell me which class T amplifier chip this unit uses.I sure would appreciate it.** A: Mine has a TRIPATH TA2020. An online search will give you the datasheet. **Q: can I bridge the outputs one speaker** A: no this unit is not bridgeable **Q: I have 2 polkaudio patio 200 outdoor loud speakers that i want to connect to my tv. will this amp work for me?** A: I know the manufacturer said no, but I have the PolkAudio Patior 200 speakers and they are only rated at 50W. I drive them with a 20W amplifier and they work just fine - plenty loud. I imagine this unit (45W per channel would be plenty).
