Review: Actually leakproof as described - I’m very pleased with the leakproof system of Zak bottles. They are leakproof exactly as advertised. However, I would say be careful to not drop the bottle too hard on the ground because this is the second time I had to buy it due to my son’s first one cracking slightly on the bottom (it dropped on the floor accidentally from a shelf). But I can always count on Zak for leakproof bottles! The straw is also very easy to sip from for toddlers.

**Q: Does this hold temperature for a school day? Also will freezing ruin the bottle?**
A: This is a BPA free plastic composite bottle. It will be the temperature of the surrounding air. Freezing the bottle will probably cause the bottle to crack and  leak. Zak does make stainless steele bottles that hold temperature and can be pre-chilled. We currently do not have any in stock.

Water bottle has been dropped several times and still not leak. Cannot say the same for our newer contigo, both of them have been destroyed but this one still great
