You can work in US units, like: decimal yards, feet, inches feet+fractional inches fractional inches Also, others like pounds, kilograms, mm, m, etc. It has basic dimensional analysis. You don't just plug numbers in and hit a conversion key, it actually keeps track (to a point) of the units for you. For example, 25.4mm and 1 inch are basically the same thing. I can enter 25.4mm times 8 feet, and get a result in square feet - it's smart enough to know what you mean. It does not appear to let you mix units, like lb-ft, for example.
