## Questions & Answers

**Q: These melamine or ceramic? Says they aren't microwave safe.**
A: These are ceramic. I think the no microwave warning is because they are now made in China and the paint may not withstand the microwave. The original Portmeirion were made in the UK. Totally dishwasher safe.

**Q: are these plates or bowls?
i'm looking for the 7.25" plates 1 1/4 inch high**
A: They are 6.5 inches wide and a little over an inch high!

**Q: Are these the dinnerware dishwasher safe versions? I noticed they do have plastic ware in this pattern at Macy’s . Thanks in advance!**
A: I'm not familiar with the plastic version. I own the pottery dishes and use then every day, and yes they microwave, oven and dishwasher safe....

**Q: are them form UK?**
A: No the newer editions are made in China.
