Review: Guess what......the CD player works! unlike 2 others that I ordered - I purchased this GPX CD player for my 81 year old mother so she could listen to the radio, and more importantly, to CD's. It works great! I ordered and received two other CD players prior to this one (a Memorex and Craig). The CD portions did not work. GPX was my first choice, however, I ordered the other ones because of the shipping time. The GPX was on back order. In retrospect, I wish that I had waited patiently and ordered it first. I highly recommend this product!

This review is for the 'GPX, Inc. Portable Top-Loading CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio and 3.5mm Line In for MP3 Device - Red'. The compact size is great for traveling (if so choose). There were a few key features that the boobox lacked: 1) You cannot program radio stations. That would have been helpful for those who listen to various stations. There is a Program feature - however, it only works for the CDs (which I found quite odd). I included image of those instructions. 2) The radio tuning knob (on the top right of the radio) is very sensitive. You have to turn the knob extremely slow as it moves from station to station quite rapidly. Overall, the boombox is decent - for the price paid (less than $30).
