However, I bought it to clear the windscreen on my,,, mobility scooter (yes you heard right). I have one of those fully enclosed, plastic canopy jobbies, which is prone to steaming up a little. obviously I couldn't run it off the scooter's 24 volt system so I added a separate 22ah 12volt battery and connected it up to that. When I use it on the heater setting (which doesn't give much heat and blows a lot less air to boot) the battery lasts about 20 minutes, but if I use it on cold, it blows well, clears the screen and lasts about 3 times as long.
