I'd be OK with that if it worked as advertised, and maybe this thing works best between a mattress and a box spring (although in 40+ years of sleeping, I've never seen a mattress slide off a box spring), but in my case the improvement is marginal at best.We have a memory foam mattress atop a queen-size platform bed; the veneer on the platform is very slick, so even though it's very heavy, the mattress tends to slide around. (The first time I got into the bed, the mattress slipped so much that I hit my head on the headboard.) The Sleep Tight pad sticks nicely to (against) the underside of the mattress, but although it's not as severe as before, the mattress still slides around on the platform. Again, the improvement is very slight. One could make the case that it's my fault because I'm using it "not as directed"--that is, between a mattress and box spring. I'm not sure what the coat difference would be.My husband is quite a bit heavier than me and the mattress is forever sliding off his side.
