I am not sure. Would depend on how much you feed it . I only used about 2 wks and Chinchillia is fine now. She should go back to eating here or his regular meals. I did take my Chinchillia to a Vet. She is doing fine now. I do not think it is a good idea to feed it for ever with this product. Just till they feel better.I did put in the fridge and think it helps with the shelf life.
