I had to loosen and buy longer bolts for the stability bar directly behind the seats, then slipped these boxes beneath the bar, and then tightened everthing down. So it kills two birds with one stone - the bar holds the speaker boxes tightly in place, and looks like a factory install. Even the carpet on the boxes matched the factory carpet on the Miata shelf. The only potential downside for some is that you have to remove the convertible boot cover to make it all work. But the boot is a pain in the ass anyway, I don't know any Miata drivers that actually bother with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well Built Good Quality *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2020* Had no issues, and 6X9 speakers sound great. Fit perfectly under rear bench seat of 97 Chevy K1500 extra cab. Not a huge deal but if your into perfection it may be a deal killer. These are super well built and sturdy, the seams are properly calked and the carpet seems to be high quality. I paired these with some Clarion 6X9s for the rear of my Porsche 930 cabriolet and the sound is amazing.
