I would highly recommend this item to new mommies that wants something quick and easy but also does a very good job. You should use filtered water when you are steaming the bottles or else the bottom of the steamer will have fluoride piling up making it hard to clean. I use this steamer to sanitize Dr. Brown bottles and Medela breast pump accessories & bottles and it works perfectly. Actually after a few times of use and knowing how to pile up the bottles and accessories... I was able to fit a lot into one steaming session. I do find this sanitizer pretty convenient. The previous one that I had could only hold up to 5 bottles, and this one could hold up to 6 bottles with the removable rings at the bottom. As my baby grows older, we no longer sanitize bottles, so having these removable rings are handy. I use Dr. Brown bottles and other brand glass bottles. All of them fit fine. The material and built seems sturdy. For this price, I think it's worth it.I read that some people complaint about rusting bottom and having molds. This is actually very common for all sanitizers. You would have to empty out the residual water each time after you are done. If you leave a pot of water sitting in there, in a long run, it would rust. If you take this extra step every time, this should last you for a while. I usually use a towel to wipe clean the bottom of the sanitizer each night before going to bed and leave it air dry. It's probably not a good idea to leave it moist all the time and bacteria could grow.One complaint that I have is the top opening. After sanitizing the bottles, if you open up the hood and put it upside down, the water would leak out from the top of the hood. But again, this is a common thing among many sanitizers. There must be a hole within the hood to let the steam out while sanitizing.
