I hold my hands up now and realise I've been mistaken all these years. There's a whole world of noodles out there that make a farce of the ones I used to buy's, hyperbolic name. These may appear nondescript and boring but don't judge a book by it's cover or indeed, a noodle by the packet. Inside the packet is a familiar noodle block that you boil in water, but instead of one sachet of flavour there are three in here, and instead of adding them to the water you put them in the bottom of the bowl and then stir in the cooked drained noodles. One sachet is a seasoned oil, the other is the flavour and a third brings a bit of heat. If heats not your thing you can leave it out. The oil seems to bind the flavours to the noodles and the taste is simply magnificent. I sometimes add some chopped spring onions and if I'm feeling really adventurous I might add a bit of fried chorizo. The other noodles should be ashamed of themselves. I assumed they would be chicken flavour?** A: Mi Goreng translates to fried noodles. They do not need frying just soak in very hot water for 3 mins before draining and add the rest of ingredients. Then just stir the well before eating. **Q: Are they peanut free?** A: I have tried to upload a photo of the ingredients (taken from the packaging) showing all allergens. Unfortunately the file format is not supported, however, there are no nuts of any kind in the contents (written in bold). Hope this helps. **Q: Are these vegan?** A: No they are not. They contain E627 which is often made from fish. It can be made from wheat or seaweed but then the packet would brand itself vegetarian or vegan. It tastes delicate and easy to make and does have loads of spicy ingredients and flavours but not on the high end of spiciness as it has no chilli’s. The portion sizes are great as they fill you up and healthy when you put eggs and other vegetables. The value for money is on another level, like 50P per packet so cheap.
