NOCO E404 Battery Cleaner with Acid Detector shows you where they are, then cleans them off. The yellow foam turns pink on contact with battery acid, pointing out acid and corrosion on the battery, terminals and cables. The foaming cleaner neutralizes battery acid and breaks down corrosion buildup in 2 to 4 minutes; spray it on, let it work, then rinse it off with water. Removing corrosion restores clean contact for better current flow and helps reduce voltage leakage across a dirty battery top, for more reliable starts. Use it on battery posts, terminals, cables, hold-downs, battery boxes, enclosures and carriers on cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, tractors, mowers and ATVs. After cleaning and drying, protect the battery with NOCO NCP2 Battery Corrosion Preventative (Step 2) and NCP2 terminal protectors to help keep corrosion from coming back. E404 comes in a 12.25 fl oz (362 mL) aerosol can. Wear gloves and eye protection when working around battery acid, and follow all label directions and warnings. ## Features - SHOWS YOU WHERE THE ACID IS — The yellow foam turns pink on contact with battery acid, so you can see exactly where acid and corrosion are on the battery, terminals and cables. - NEUTRALIZES AND DISSOLVES CORROSION — The foaming cleaner neutralizes battery acid and breaks down corrosion buildup in 2 to 4 minutes; spray it on, let it work, then rinse it off with water. - BETTER CONNECTIONS — Removing corrosion restores clean contact for better current flow and helps reduce voltage leakage across a dirty battery top, for more reliable starts. - USE IT ALL AROUND THE BATTERY — Cleans posts, terminals, cables, hold-downs, battery boxes, enclosures and carriers on cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, tractors, mowers and ATVs. - STEP 1 OF NOCO BATTERY CARE — After cleaning, protect terminals with NOCO NCP2 Battery Corrosion Preventative spray and terminal protectors; 12.25 fl oz (362 mL) aerosol can. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002MGTNX0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,893 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #6 in Electrical Cleaners | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (2,057) | | Date First Available | August 21, 2009 | | Department | Mens | | Item model number | E404S | | Manufacturer | NOCO | | Product Dimensions | 2.5 x 2.5 x 7.78 inches; 1.12 pounds | ## Images ![NOCO E404 Battery Terminal Cleaner Spray with Acid Detector, 12.25 oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LYf56tDwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the difference between the 404 and the 403SS?
