The stainless steel is the kind you get at dollar stores: there are rough edges (not *sharp*, but rough) and a cheap 'steel' finish. The end piece is not welded like it sort of makes out to sort of look like in their product photos. But at maybe a third of the price as other precision tongs out there, this was probably warranted. It gets the job done, but don't expect it to be something of joy (aside from the deal I guess).Shipping is fine, it came in a padded envelope for me. The tongs themselves were in a silver pouch, which you can see in the photo – not much use to me IMO since I'd probably keep them out of it anyways. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Product *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2021* I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of both tweezers in this set. They are constructed of a heavy duty stainless steel. I use them to clean up the bottoms of my Bonsai plantings but I imagine there are multiple uses where a longer reach tweezers could come in handy. They also arrived in a small vinyl pouch for additional protection.
