Review: A Lifesaver for a Picky Cat with Special Needs - Finding a wet cat food that our cat actually enjoys has always been a challenge, especially since she's a very picky eater and also has CHF, which means she's on diuretics. Getting enough moisture into her diet is crucial, and most foods just don't cut it. This Purina Friskies Gravy Wet Cat Food Variety Pack has been an absolute game-changer for us. The "shreds with gravy" description truly delivers – there's a generous amount of gravy in each can, which is exactly what our cat needs to stay hydrated while on her medication. She absolutely devours this food, which is a huge relief. The variety of flavors (beef, chicken, and turkey & cheese) keeps her interested, and we haven't had any issues with her turning her nose up at any of them. It's clear that the texture and the extra gravy are what make this product so appealing to her. For anyone with a picky cat, especially one who needs that added moisture, this variety pack is definitely worth trying. It's well-balanced and provides the necessary hydration without any fuss. My cats are finicky eaters. I don't know if they will like it but I want to try something new for them.** A: With cats there is never a guarantee. I have been breeding cats since 1977. What would you want to do return it?Cats who are finicky eaters have trained their owners. No cat will starve if food is available. My cats love this. **Q: is one can one meal or for a whole day?** A: I have three cats and offer them 1/3 of a can each in the AM and let them graze on kibble for the rest of the day. They are used to that and don't complain. I'm sure if I offered them an evening meal of wet food they'd INSIST on it after that. The cats WILL train you, have no illusions.Consider this, if you put more food out than they can eat immediately, the food will dry out and get all crusty and they won't touch it after that. There are two kinds of cats, with respect to eating: 1) will only eat what it wants and comes back frequently for another tiny snack; 2) will gorge all the food in sight until its belly drags on the ground. With my three cats one is a gorger and the other is a nibbler. The result is that were I to put a lot of food out the nibbler would finish and walk away and the gorger would eat hers and his as well. Obesity is as much a problem for cats as humans. My suggestion: 1/4 to 1/2 can per cat in the AM, then let them browse on kibble after that. Watch how they eat and modify according to what seems to work. One cat eats so slowly that I have to isolate her or she will have her food stolen by the gorger. Experiment. **Q: Hi I canceled my order I want to make sure it canceled I will like it refunded back to my card** A: Go to your account or to your Returns and Order page and it will tell you. Amazon is very good at taking care of everything. **Q: Why is it $109.41 delivery. Talk about ripping people off** A: I never heard of a box of 24 cans costing $109.41 to ship in my life? Had to be a mistake not a rip off. If you invest the reasonable amount of money and become a PRIME member, you will pay no shipping and you get your items in one or two days most of the time and you can return anything to amazon for FREE. That amount has to be a mistake! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Lifesaver for a Picky Cat with Special Needs *by B***S on May 19, 2026* Finding a wet cat food that our cat actually enjoys has always been a challenge, especially since she's a very picky eater and also has CHF, which means she's on diuretics.
