These are the solid style used for removal only. They are NOT hollow in the middle. **Q: how long should i change one?one month?or 3 months?** A: They do not last forever. I have been using DMV lens removers 35 years. I can't remember when I bought my last set, maybe 2010. Rubber deteriorates over time. Also, each plunger comes in a plastic case so they remain clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are wonderful! *by S***E on March 4, 2018* I got gas permeable contacts for the first time and after struggling for an hour to get a contact out of my eye (the lid pull and blink wasn't working) I did some research and discovered these. Just be sure a put a drop of saline on the tip of the remover and maybe a drop in your eye for good measure, to make sure the contact is nice and wet, because it would probably hurt if you didn't from the suction. These are wonderful! Contacts out in 1 second!
