Also have you lose weight** A: I have been using this as part of a diet and exercise program to lose weight (and have lost 12 lbs in the last couple months with 30 minutes of a cardio workout 5 days per week - as recommended by the AHA); however, I am using it at a higher intensity setting and probably a faster pace for only 30-45 minute stints daily than you would likely use for 5 hours a day. The movement is easy enough, once you get it started, but I wouldn't recommend using this in place of vigorous physical activity with the intention of losing weight. **Q: Does this also work standing up? I have a stand-up work station and would like to be able to use this for both standing up and sitting at my desk.** A: Yes, this works standing up. You have to reverse your orientation from sitting down. Wheel and arm durability are questionable without conclusive company test results. That I haven't seen anything on such an obvious and popular use seems like a strategy for warranty issues, target market and deniability (Improper use claims). So yeah, you can do it, but durability may be reduced. **Q: My FitDesk (Under Desk model) is starting to squeak and make a little noise. Where would I spray Pledge or WD40 to stop the noise?** A: It was the wheels which were squeaking! I sprayed WD-40 on the axle and outside of the wheel, and I cleaned under the wheel. It no longer squeaks at all, although I'm not sure which step solved it. **Q: Can anyone tell me how difficult the lowest setting is? I have a Deskcycle, and like that its lowest setting is practically no resistance.** A: I have both the Deskcycle and FitDesk. I keep the Deskcycle at work and the Fitdesk at my home office. I have both set to 3 so I cannot compare them directly at the lowest setting. Having said that, the FitDesk at the lowest setting seems to have only a little bit more resistance but definitely more inertia to overcome when you start pedaling on it. The clearance for your knees is lower on the FitDesk. I had to modify my desk at work with the Deskcycle as I had a Keyboard credenza which was too low even with the shorter legs. ## Frequently Bought Together - FitDesk Under Desk Bike Pedal Machine with Magnetic Resistance for Quiet, Fluid Motion - Adjustable Tension with Digital Performance Meter - FitDesk Protective Floor Mat - Lightweight PVC Exercise Mat for Carpet & Floor Protection, Ideal for Bikes, Ellipticals, Treadmills, Gym Equipment, Non-Slip - 48" x 27", Black - Little Tikes Pelican Explore & Fit Cycle Adjustable Play Fitness Exercise Equipment Stationary Bike with Videos and Built-in Bluetooth Speaker, For Kids Ages 3-7 Years, WHITE, BLUE --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/11793401-fitdesk-under-desk-bike-pedal-machine-with-magnetic-resistance-quiet](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/11793401-fitdesk-under-desk-bike-pedal-machine-with-magnetic-resistance-quiet) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
