All you need is a small flat blade screwdriver 🪛 or something similar. Simply unclip the metal clasp on each end of the old support and push the new one into place. Ya might need a hood support bar,2”x4” Piece of wood or I simply flipped a hammer 🔨 upside down to hold the hood while exchanging out supports or the hood might fall.No need to undue clips on new hinge support, just push onto ball joint. Voila!!!Super stoked with new units, as with the old, I would drop the hood from about half way and it would slam shut with gravity.
