I've used dry shampoos from the higher end of the price spectrum, and this is such a keeper! This awesome dry shampoo makes hair soft and takes the oiliness away without making the hair too gritty as other dry shampoos tend to do, and its easy to brush out/ rub out of even really dark hair like mine. Neither does this make the hair too matte, its light and makes my hair bouncy and soft. The scent is not that noteworthy, i barely smell the scent , but that is also a good thing since if you want to use this in a small bathroom or in your car you wont asphyxiate from too much perfume smell nor will the smell clash with your own perfume. I found another product I absolutely love but it’s super pricey! This product had really good reviews so I decided to try it out. It’s not awful but it’s doesn't do anything for my hair. I use it in between my washes and I don’t think it really helps at all. My hair doesn’t get super greasy I’m between washes but it’s just something I notice. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the return policy well because it’s not returnable due to it being a flammable. Since the reviews are high it could very well be my hair but typical dry shampoos work for me. I rated it 5 stars for scent and value - because it hits those markers. No scent (which is preferable to me), it doesn’t feel heavy, and it’s very reasonably priced. But I don’t just want grease absorption - I also want some texture and have found many brands that do this for me. It has a bit of a conditioning aspect too - I’m not sure if it’s because the product is just overall less gritty than my preferred brands, or if it’s because it’s actually *not* absorbing oils the way it’s intended. This isn’t a terrible option if you’ve got thick hair that just needs a refresh - unfortunately, my hair is thin, and I need my dry shampoo to add something (texture and volume) rather than weigh it down.This might be your perfect dry shampoo - but for me, it will not be a repurchase. Also, if this is your intro to dry shampoo and you hate it - don’t give up. I’ve been using dry shampoo for a solid 10 years now, and it’s an absolute hair staple for me. Without product I have fine, thin, pin-straight hair.
