i agree with the previous reviewer; this is NOT new material, but is a reprint of a book by the same title first printed in 2010; i was led to believe that this was a new publication; especially deceiving was the fact that the book was first made available as a pre-order, which led me to believe that it was a new work.don't be fooled by the new cover (and even that exists as a photograph / page inside the previous edition!)i am returning this, and i am disappointed.

Let’s be clear- this is a reprint- not a new book.  I bought the first edition from Amazon years ago and they did not tell me.

    Overly crowded style

There were items of furniture and accessories that I liked, as well as especially enjoying the different styles of slipcovers.  All in all, I think that the interiors were over filled, and most of the furniture tops reminded me of displays that one might find in second hand stores.  This may have been a style that was popular when the book was released.  I purchased the book at a bargain price from one of Amazon's used book affiliates, so I feel that I didn't overpay for a book that I consider to be less than wonderful.
