I thought he was commenting on my feet or maybe my hands were a little rough looking lately. But no, these were for my mini Akorn! I don't know why I was worried about them being ’ too rough’ on the grill, I had been scrubbing the grill with a wire brush or even a bunched up ball of aluminum. After I started using one I was surprised how easily it conformed to my cast iron grill, just about perfectly. Probably with the right cleaning chemicals you could get rid of that hardened build-up with this.
